Guidelines Abstracts

Submission of abstracts

Maximum 500 words: Please use the specific online submission form.

 

The abstracts will be blind reviewed by 2 reviewers and will either be accepted or suggestions for improvement will be provided. In this case the abstract can be re-submitted.

 

Abstracts must be submitted for review using the online form by December 1st, 2010.

Selections will be made by January 5th, 2011.

Guidelines for abstracts papers

Your abstract should refer to:

 

1.  The context of the research or teaching innovation.

2.  The problem that is being addressed.
3.  The research methodology applied or the new teaching practice design implemented.

4.  The outline discussion of conclusions.

5.  The implications for Higher Education.

 

Guidelines for abstracts workshops

Your abstract should refer to:

 

1.  The context of the workshop/best practice within the theme.

2.  The objective(s).
3.  The methodology applied or the new practice design implemented.

4.  The interactive approach.

5.  The outcome.

6.  The maximum number of participants.

 

Guidelines for abstracts best practices

Your abstract should refer to:

 

1.   The context of your best practice (what challenge/problem is being addressed?)

2.   The description of minimum 3 cases as examples of best practice/ lesson learnt.
3.   The objective and target population of the best practice as well as the methods applied.

4.   The description of how your best practice is linked to theory/earlier research and how it is
      innovative.

5.   The outcomes and critical success factors.

6.   The conclusions and implications for Higher Education.
